The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna Chapter 90

Chapter 90

The man let out a half smile. “Just a warning. Alpha Nick is holding Charlotte captive. Tell him to let her go, or your stay here will be miserable.”

“And just who are you?” Sheridan asked, unafraid, and trusting her battle skills.

“Someone who owes Charlotte a favor. I can do anything for her,” the man said solemnly. Sheridan was tired. Her only mistake was letting Charlotte into her life as a best friend. Even when they turned enemies, she still had not found

peace.

“You should understand that Alpha Nick and Charlotte are mates. It’s not in my place to tell him to leave her. Charlotte loves him and is not being held hostage.”

Sheridan knew that Charlotte would want to stay by Alpha Nick’s side more than anything in this world.

Maintaining his half smile, the stranger asked her, “If things were as you said, then she would not have called me for help, right? You were the Luna of the pack, and the pack members arè still not accepting her. What do you call that?”

“What do I care? How is it my fault that she refuses to put in her all into training? What is a Luna who can’t train her pack members?”

It was a known fact that Charlotte lacked the capabilities of a Luna. However, should she focus and train harder, she would be just as good as Sheridan.

Displeased with her response, he issued a little threat. “There are so many ways to hurt that beautiful creature in the back.”

Sheridan’s gaze darkened. She rolled up the window of the car and drove to her apartment, but the man did not follow her. Her daughter was her only weakness. She would die before any harm came to her.

Without stepping out of the car, she dialed a number. “Goldie, it’s me.”

Goldie was super elated to hear that sweet voice again. “Sherry, are you coming back? You promised not to call until it was time.”

It had been eighteen months since she last saw or heard from Sheridan. Everyone missed her, and Goldie already sensed a party coming up to welcome Sheridan and her baby.

Sheridan looked around, not knowing if the stranger had left or was still in front of the apartment. “There is a creep here. I don’t know his relationship with Charlotte, but I’m not comfortable. I am coming by the private jet. Please come and get me at the airport.”

Goldie remembered their previous arrangements and thought to inform Sheridan that the plan would not work anymore. “There is something I need to tell you.”

Chapter 90

“Please let it wait until I come. I’m not wasting any more time endangering my daughter’s life. She would be better protected at the pack.” Sheridan ended the call before Goldie could

say more.

After calling the pilot to make arrangements, she went to the nanny. “I have paid three months‘ advance salary into your account. There is six months‘ rent on this apartment. You can do whatever you want with it, but I’m not coming back.

“Where are you going?” The nanny was heartbroken, not expecting Sheridan to leave so soon when she had fallen in love with Daisy. It was hard not to see the cute baby anymore.

“To my family. Please take good care of yourself.” Sheridan stuffed a wad of cash into her hands. “This might help you.”

The nanny’s eyes welled with tears. Aside from the fact that Sheridan treated her like a mother, she was still so generous even after paying so much money into her bank account.

“Thank you.”

“You can drive me to the airport and keep the car too,” Sheridan revealed. The nanny was shocked, standing in a stupor. Sheridan ignored her. Picking a few of the baby’s essentials, she left with the nanny to the airport.

“I will miss my little Daisy.”

“I know, but you will get over her,” Sheridan hugged her and said, adding, “goodbye, take good care of yourself.”

In the jet, Sheridan fed Daisy as soon as she woke up. The little girl’s eyes were as wide as a hawk with no sign of sleeping anymore. Her smile was so bright that it warmed Sheridan’s heart.

“You are so beautiful,” Sheridan smiled, planting a small kiss on Daisy’s thin rosy lips. Daisy bloomed with a smile, mumbling baby words. Two of her bottom teeth were already out.

Sheridan stuffed a rattle in her hand, and she began to shake it, enjoying the sound of it. Hours later, the jet landed at the airport.

As soon as Sheridan stepped out, Daisy began bawling loudly. “Princess, do you need to pee?” Sheridan was worried because of all the attention they were getting, as the girl’s cries were so loud.

She checked Daisy’s diaper, which was dry. Thinking she might be thirsty, she gave her water, but Daisy refused to drink it. Then she tried a snack, but that also did not work. Looking at the far distance, her heart warmed greatly.

Not only did Goldie come to meet her, but also her seven brothers. As she hastened to meet them with the crying baby, Daisy was violently wiggling out of her arms.

She seemed attracted to something, so Sheridan paused. Goldie and her seven brothers were

fast approaching her, but she did not move anymore, trying to soothe the crying Daisy and stabilize her in her arms when someone snatched Daisy from her.

Sheridan stood frozen. Her eyes welled up in tears. “Nick, what are you doing here?”
