The Alpha’s Obsession with his Ex-Contract Luna Chapter 123

Chapter 123

“What did she say? How is she? Alpha Nick asked as soon as Sheridan stepped out of the shower room. He was very worried.

A puzzled smile stretched Sheridan’s lips. Knowing that Alpha Nick cared so much about his sister, Sheridan was finding it hard to keep the information to herself.

“Nothing. She was just calling to inform me that she arrived safe and sound.”

Alpha Nick knew she was lying or perhaps Sheridan forgot they marked each other and could feel each other’s

emotions.

“Why are you lying to me? Did you forget we were mates?”

Sheridan stiffened at the reminder. Alpha Nick looked upset and could even drive to the Riverbed pack if she continued to keep it from him.

“It’s just something Bree can handle on her own. Women talk,” she said seriously, hoping to soothe his anger, but due to trying to keep it from him earlier, he insisted,

“I still want to know.”

After careful thought, Sheridan spoke. “Unless you promise not to interfere in everything going on.”

A dry smile escaped Alpha Nick. If there was something going on with Bree, he wanted to know and did not plan on stopping.

“That depends. If her life is at risk, then I won’t obey you.”

Sheridan gave up and began to explain it calmly. “Alpha Ansaldo’s father married for him, Abilene, the daughter of the Alpha of the East Red Pack by the time they arrived at the pack.”

A deep frown contoured Alpha Nick’s handsome features. He did not like this at all.

“That old man. Why does he lack patience? I don’t think that Bree can handle this on her own.”

He was ready to go speak some sense into Alpha Gaius and Ansaldo’s father, but Sheridan made a revelation. “Then you don’t know her as much as you think you do.”

Alpha Nick was not surprised that Sheridan knew some things about Bree that he did not. “Let me call Ansaldo since Bree does not want to tell me.”

Sheridan regretted telling him. “Now you would make it obvious that I can’t keep secrets.”

A genuine smile stretched Alpha Nick’s lips as he assured her, “No, I won’t.”

He dialed Alpha Ansaldo’s number, ensuring that Sheridan heard everything by activating the speaker button.

Somehow, Alpha Ansaldo answered the phone on the fourth ring and sounded a little nervous.

“Alpha Nick.”

“Don’t you think we should drop the title as in–laws?” Alpha Nick was calm, and at the end of the line, Alpha Gaius was surprised when Alpha Ansaldo addressed Alpha Nick without his title,

Alpha Ansaldo calmed down when he realized that Bree had not told her brother as he thought. “Nick, I forgot to

inform you that we arrived safely.”

At the end of the line, Alpha Nick let out a tight smile. “Alright. That is what I wanted to know, but how is my sister and how is she adjusting?” Alpha Nick asked, hoping that Alpha Ansaldo would trust him with the information, but Alphas had pride.

Alpha Ansaldo was relieved that Bree had not told him. Until things were out of hand, some of them would never ask for help.

“She’s with her personal maid. I want her to change whatever she wants. You know how everything here might seem different to her”

“I see. So have you set a date yet?” Alpha Nick asked, hoping to get the information he needed this time.

After all, Bree would not be coronated if there was another woman, forced or not, to marry Alpha Ansaldo.

“I’m deliberating on it, but I don’t think it would be more than a week,” Alpha Ansaldo revealed his plan, being too eager to coronate Bree for all the packs to know about his Luna.

However, Alpha Nick had a problem with the timeline. After thinking about Charlotte’s last call, it was obvious that she was going to attack when they least expected it.

Everybody had to be ready. Her call meant she might try something funny, and if that happened, then he might miss out on his sister’s coronation.

“Make it two weeks. I heard Charlotte is still alive somewhere. Until I deal with her, I don’t want to leave the pack, and mom would want to be there too,” Alpha Nick said honestly since Alpha Ansaldo already knew about what happened. with Charlotte.

“Sure, Nick, for your sake, I’ll make it two weeks.”

Alpha Ansaldo was glaring at Alpha Gaius while responding to the call.

“Alright. Let me have a word with my sister,” Alpha Nick finally said, accepting that he would not get the information he needed from Ansaldo.

“Okay, hold on.”

Alpha Ansaldo left Alpha Gaius without any courtesies. When he entered the room, Bree was about to speak when. Ansaldo addressed the maid.

“Aisha, excuse us.” Aisha obeyed, and only then he turned to Bree. “Your brother is on the line. I will go take care of a few things.”

He left after giving the phone to her, though sensing her nervousness. Going back to the living room where Alpha Gaius and Abilene still stood puzzled, he said to Alpha Gaius.

“This is my suggestion. Send her to the human world for a year until the news of the marriage dies down. Within that time, we can also work on the divorce. Or, she stays and watches my mate get coronated in two weeks.”

Alpha Gaius and his daughter were conflicted, as they had not mentioned the main reason for wanting the marriage so urgently.
